Four killed in Kharkiv, six injured in Kiev in Russian airstrikes, Ukrainian officials say

At least four people have been killed and six others wounded in waves of Russian nighttime attacks on Ukraine’s two largest cities, Kharkiv and Kiev, Ukrainian officials said today. Two more people were killed and seven wounded in Russian shelling in Kherson, southern Ukraine, this morning, according to the local governor. Russian forces have been attacking Ukrainian areas almost every night with drones, and the Ukrainian military said it shot down 26 of the 48 drones launched overnight. Four people were killed in Kharkiv early this morning in a Russian shelling in the city’s Osnovyansky district, Mayor Ihor Terekhov said via Telegram. A local emergency service released video showing rescue workers removing the rubble of a completely destroyed building and carrying a black bag in which bodies are usually placed.
