Four men died during a confrontation with military police last Saturday (15). The case happened in the city of Jequié, in southwest Bahia, after the agents receive information about armed individuals at Residencial Mandacaru I.
The suspects were identified as 36 -year -old Anderson Medrado de Souza, 34 -year -old Gilvanei Nascimento Silva, 18 -year -old Lucas Jesus Souza and 18 -year -old Gabriel Souza de Jesus. According to the Military Police, the garrison carried out steps after being aware of the occurrence.
The site had dense vegetation that made it difficult for police to access. Arriving at the scene, the agents were surprised by gunmen who reacted with firearm shots at the team.
The confrontation resulted in four injured men and sent to Prado Valadares General Hospital, but could not resist. Weapons and drugs were seized in the operation.
