Hungary’s nationalist, right-wing Prime Minister Viktor Orbán met yesterday Thursday, 11/7 with former US President Donald Trump in Florida, after the end of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization meeting in Washington, following the series of visits by the head of the of the Hungarian government in Kiev, Moscow and Beijing, in order to find a way to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. “We discussed ways to make peace,” Mr Orban said via X, over a photo of the two politicians side by side at Mr Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence. “The good news of the day: he will resolve it!”, added the Hungarian prime minister, without giving any other details about what they discussed. The two politicians, who have met repeatedly, often express admiration for each other.
