Four Palestinians Killed in Israeli Army Raid in Jenin, West Bank

Four Palestinians were killed early today during an Israeli army raid in Jenin, in the northern part of occupied West Bankthe Palestinian Authority’s Ministry of Health pointed out.

At the moment the Israeli army has not made any comment.

According to the Palestinian Wafa news agency, “more than 100 military vehicles and two excavators” of the Israeli army took part in this raid on Jenin and the refugee camp located there. Jenin is considered a stronghold of armed Palestinian organizations and is the target of regular raids by the Israeli armed forces.

The four Palestinians killed by Israeli army fire were between the ages of 23 and 28, the health ministry said. Nine more were injured.

Israeli army drones flew over Jenin during the raid, while “snipers in the buildings” were deployed around the city’s main hospital, a wall of its compound was demolished by army excavators, according to Wafa.

Yesterday Sunday, five Palestinians were killed by Israeli army fire during another raid in the West Bank, according to the Palestinian Authority’s Ministry of Health.

Based on this source, nearly 120 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank by Israeli soldiers or settlers since the start of the war between Israel and Hamas.

The situation in the West Bank was tense even before the outbreak of this war, with frequent raids by the Israeli armyescalation of settler violence against Palestinians and Palestinian attacks against settlers and Israeli forces.

On Saturday, a 40-year-old Palestinian man picking olives was killed by an Israeli settler in a village located near a Jewish settlement in the Nablus region. according to the Ministry of Health and the local mayor.
