Four people on board a boat, including a 12-year-old boy, are missing after their boat capsized off the coast of Portugal today, the Portuguese coast guard said. Coastguard vessels and an aircraft from the country's air force have been deployed to search the wreck site, three kilometers off the Troia peninsula, south of Lisbon, the coastguard explained in a press release. The same source notes that police and firefighters are on foot on the beaches in the area, while a fifth passenger on the boat was rescued by a passing ship. According to Portuguese media, all the passengers, including the 12-year-old boy, are Portuguese, and they were reportedly thrown from their boat when a large wave hit them.
