The luxury hotel chain Four Seasons announced the arrival in another Caribbean destination. By the end of 2025, the brand’s first resort is scheduled to open in Puerto Rico .
About 30 minutes from the international airport of San Juan, the country’s capital, the Bahia Beach Resort & Golf Club will be transformed into the Four Seasons Resort Puerto Rico . The property faces the waters of the Atlantic on Bahia Beach, in the municipality of Rio Grande.
The accommodations will undergo renovations and become 139 rooms and suites and 85 private residences . Restaurants, bars, swimming pools and spa are among the amenities.
The resort

The resort will occupy part of a 195-hectare residential area that already has tennis courts, a golf course, condominiums and even a St. Regis resort.
In addition to these services, guests will have direct access to the 3.2 km of white sand that kisses the sea, as well as nature trails. THE El Yunque National Forest and the RÃo EspÃritu Santo State Reserve surround the property.
According to Four Seasons, the resort’s pools will be remodeled to provide direct views of the ocean, as well as saunas and new experiences will be added to the spa. The renovations are in the hands of North American studio Meyer Davis, the same design company behind the Four Seasons properties in Athens, Houston, San Francisco and Costa Rica.
The network already has resorts and residences in some Caribbean destinations, such as Anguilla, the Bahamas and Saint Kitts and Nevis. In addition to Puerto Rico, there are projects under development in Belize and the Dominican Republic.
