The luxury hotel chain Four Seasons has once again landed on the Mexico , this time with a new resort in the city of Cabo San Lucas. O Four Seasons Resort and Residences Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol It is scheduled to open on May 1st.
Situated in a community on the famous hotel corridor of Los Cabos the resort has a private beach and offers three swimming pools, three restaurants, five bars and 61 private residences.
There are a total of 96 accommodations, including casitas, suites and villas, all of which open onto terraces – several suites also offer private pools and outdoor showers.
Private residences range from 79 to 590 square meters and have views of the Mexican Gulf of California, also called Sea of Cortez . Some private villas will soon be available for rent.
The resort
Just 15 minutes from Cabo San Lucas International Airport, the new Four Seasons resort follows a concept of modern hacienda inspired by charming Mexican cities. The architecture has simple lines and contemporary Mexican design.
The core of the property is called La Casona, which more closely resembles a living room than a conventional lobby. There are no traditional receptions here and check-in is carried out casually by the staff. The space has a fireplace, local artwork and opens to a direct view of the ocean.
In terms of gastronomy, the resort has a variety of restaurants: Palmerio has an open kitchen and Mediterranean and Mexican dishes; Cayao is signed by Richard Sandoval and follows Peruvian Nikkei cuisine; La Casona Bar offers tequila tasting and prepares classic and contemporary drinks. There is also a beach club and a lounge project with a rooftop facing the sea.
Experiences
The Four Seasons Resort and Residences Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol also has a spa which combines wisdom from the Kumiai tribe with modern technologies for body treatments and holistic care.
With lakes and sea views, a large golf course near the resort is also available for guests. On the beach, free diving can be done alongside professionals.
Between experiences, it is possible to stroll along the Magdalena Bay which is full of biodiversity and has a population of gray whales from January to mid-March – in spring it is possible to see the calves alongside their parents.
The Four Seasons chain has other properties in Mexico, including the Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo, in a nature reserve on the Pacific coast. Hotels in Mexico City and Punta Mita also count.
