THE Austrian police are investigating her murder of four women and a teenage girl within 24 hours in Viennain two different criminal actions.
In accordance with BBC in the first incident, three women were stabbed to death inside a brothel by a man who was later arrested and questioned.
The women's bodies were found in a building in the central area of Brigittenau at around 21:00 on Friday (local time, 20:00 Greek time), after police were called.
The suspect, described by police as a 27-year-old Afghan national, was found hiding near the brothel with a knife in his hand.
The motive for the murders is currently unknown.
In another incident, which happened earlier on Friday, a 51-year-old woman and her 13-year-old daughter were found strangled inside their home in the Erdberg district.
THE husband of the woman and father of the girl he appears to be responsible for the murder and is wanted.
There is no indication that the murders are connected.
Activists called for urgent action to end violence against women.
According to the most recent figures at least 319 women were killed in Austria between 2010 and 2020 – mostly by male partners or ex-partners.
