Samsung has released a software update for its flagship 2017 smartphone series, the Galaxy S8. This will most likely be the last update for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 + (review).

Samsung has gradually phased out support for old flagships. It hasn’t released the 2019 operating system Android 10 for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 +. In May 2020, Samsung removed the pair from the list of smartphones that receive monthly updates, but still continues to update them every quarter.
The latest update numbered G950FXXSBDUA3 (for S8) and G955FXXSBDUA3 (for S8 +) is for Exynos-based models in Latin America. It brings the January 2021 Android security update. The firmware will gradually become available for other regions as well.
