Fourth dose of vaccine increases antibodies fivefold – New Israeli study shows

The preliminary findings of an Israeli study were cited today by Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, noting that a fourth dose of Covid-19 vaccine causes antibodies to increase fivefold one week after vaccination. “One week after the fourth dose, we know with a higher degree of certainty that the fourth dose is safeSaid Bennett.

The statements were made at the Seba Medical Center, where a second booster dose is being given vaccines as part of a test between its staff amid an increase in infections from Omicron variant in the country.

“The second news: We know that one week after a fourth dose, we see a fivefold increase in the number of antibodies in the vaccinated person“, he told reporters, as broadcast by Reuters and relayed by the Athens News Agency.

“Most likely this means a significant increase in its action against infection and… hospitalization and (serious) symptoms,” Bennett said in English.
