Almost 60% of it French population has received at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine, according to health data released tonight.
“Soon 40 million vaccinated in one dose. We are moving forward. We do not relax our efforts. “Get vaccinated,” the French president wrote on Twitter Emmanuel Macron. This limit is expected to be exceeded tomorrow, given that at least 39.94 million French – ie. 59.2% of the population – have received at least one dose of vaccine.
Almost 50% (33.2%) have received the full vaccination schedule, according to figures released by the Ministry of Health.
Health key numbers (hospitalizations and number of patients in intensive care units) remain stable, despite the increase in infections for about 15 days (16,167 new infections today).
The trend for seven days remains for a slow but steady increase, with 1,837 admissions (1,800 yesterday Saturday) in hospitals within a week, of which 376 in intensive care units.
Covid-19 has killed six patients in the last 24 hours out of a total of 111,644 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.
