French Prime Minister François Bairou managed to avoid the fall of his government on Tuesday, as the latest censure proposal submitted to parliament did not gather the necessary support – far -right National Alert (RN) MPs did not support his proposal. The proposal received 189 votes out of the 289 needed for the government to fall. Although she survived the eighth motion of censure after taking over her duties last December, Bayros’s prime minister seems to be weaker. Bairou is in the same position as his predecessor Michel Barnier, whose three -month term in the prime minister ended after the national alarm demanded the end of his term.
