France decides to deport an Uzbek over suspicions of “Islamic radicalization”

The French government decided to proceed to deportation of an Uzbek due to suspicions of “Islamist radicalization”, despite his decision to the contrary European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) which prohibited deportation on the grounds of the risk of torture in his home country.

Specifically, on November 14, the French authorities they expelled one 39 year old Uzbek citizen, even though the ECtHR had ruled against the deportation and without waiting for the administrative courts to rule – to which an urgent appeal had been filed, as reported by APE-MPE.

It is recalled that the day after the attack in the city of Arras on October 13, which resulted in the murder of a teacher inside his school, the Minister of the Interior, Gerald Darmanen, announced that his determination to deport foreign nationals considered dangerous will not waver in the face of the European Court of Human Rights.
