France: Giant pawn – Chess players want to enter the Guinness record with a king of 4.2 tons

The chess club in Chatron, near Nantes of France announced that he had built the nearly 4.2-ton King’s Pawn to commemorate the 20th International Open Chess which is held these days in the city.

The chessboard is made from more than 768 pieces of French wood and took more than 700 hours to build, the Group said.
