France: ‘I did not kill anyone’, claims Abdeslam on the terrorist attacks of November 13, 2015

Salah Abdeslam, the main suspect in the November 2015 Islamist attacks that claimed the lives of 130 people in Paris, told the court today that he did not kill or injure anyone.

“I did not kill or injure anyone. I did not scratch or scratch them. From the beginning of this case, they have not stopped slandering me,” he said in a spontaneous statement before the court, five months after the hearing began.

In terrorism cases, “the penalties imposed are extremely severe,” he said. “I understand that justice wants to set an example,” he said, adding that it was sending a “message”.

“In the future, when a person gets on the subway or on a bus with a suitcase full of 50 kilos of explosives and at the last minute says to himself ‘I will do it back’, he will know that he has no right, because he will be imprisoned. or they will kill him, “said the main defendant.

Abdeslam also told the court that he supported and loved the Islamic State terrorist organization.

Prosecutors believe 32-year-old Salah Abdeslam is the only surviving member of the Islamic State cell that carried out the November 13, 2015 gun and bomb attacks on Parisian bars, restaurants, the Bataclan concert hall and the Stade de Stade.
