French President Emmanuel Macron, announced Wednesday that they will begin imposing nightly curfews in major cities starting Saturday for four weeks to limit the spread of the coronavirus, Reuters reported.
“The situation of the COVID-19 pandemic is worrying.”
“We have not lost control of the situation.”
“We have to react. The second wave is different because it extends throughout France.”
“A new national blockade would be disproportionate.”
“Decided on curfew in the Paris region.”
“Curfews also in Grenoble, Lille, Lyon, Toulouse and other cities”.
“Curfews will be imposed between 9pm and 6am.”
