France: Two women were sentenced for spreading that Brigitte Macron was born a man

Court at France condemned two women, who spread the false rumor that the Brigitte Macron he was born male and not female.

As it states politico.euhim December 2021the two women –one played the freelance journalist and the other played the fortune teller– they said in a YouTube video that Emmanuel Macron’s wife was actually born a man, named Jean-Michel Tronier (the real name of Brigitte Macron’s brother). They also claimed that Brigitte Macron’s first husband never existed and that he had not conceived her three children.

On Tuesday, therefore, the court of Lisieux imposed a fine of 2,000 euros to each of the women, following the defamation suit filed against them by Brigitte Macron and her brother, Jean-Michel Tronier, in February 2022.

It is noted that during the election campaign in 2022, as Emmanuel Macron sought to be re-elected, the transphobic reputation was adopted by far-right groups, supporters of the Yellow Vests and anti-vaccines, according to “Le Monde”.
