In a statement, the French Foreign Ministry expressed its unequivocal opposition to any planning of military occupation or forced displacement of the Palestinian population, while the Israeli army is preparing to enter the city of Gaza, with the aim of eliminating its exile. As French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Baro said, such a strategy not only does not guarantee the success of Israel’s goals, but can exacerbate an already destructive humanitarian situation, without ensuring the liberation of hostages or Hamas disarmament.
