Frank Fritz, host of “Relic Hunters,” dies at age 60

The presenter Frank Fritz from the reality show “Relic Hunters “, passed away this Monday (30), at 60 years old . The announcement of his death was made by Mike Wolfe his companion on the attraction, in an Instagram post.

“It is with a broken heart that I share with all of you that Frank passed away last night. I’ve known Frank for more than half my life and what you saw on TV was always what I saw: a dreamer who was as sensitive as he was funny,” Wolfe began in his social media post.

“Just as he was on camera, Frank had a way of touching so many people’s hearts just by being himself. […] Before the show, we would set off together to places we never knew existed, with no destination in mind and just the shared passion of discovering something interesting and historic,” he continued.

Finally, Wolfe expressed his gratitude for the presenter’s company and friendship: “I love you, friend, and I will miss you very much. I know you are in a better place.”

In total, Fritz appeared in 308 episodes of the North American reality show “Relic Hunters”, produced by History Channel from 2010 to 2021. The presenter had been away from the public since he suffered a stroke in 2022.
