Another Sky Mavis co-founder Alexander Leonard Larsen also statedthat there is no problem with Ronin, and the wallet was compromised in a way that “happens on every blockchain.”
In March 2022, hackers from the Lazarus Group used an exploit in the Ronin code and withdrew crypto assets with a total value of approximately $625 million.
A year after the incident, Sky Mavis announced plans to increase decentralization and enter into cooperation with other studios to develop games based on the network.
