The popular open source Ventoy program has been updated to the stable version 1.0.55, with the ability to bypass the Windows 11 compatibility check when creating a bootable USB stick. This was noticed by gHacks. This utility differs from analogs like Rufus (which previously received the same feature) in that it places operating system image files directly on a USB drive without extracting – due to this, the program can write several ISO images to a USB flash drive at once.

In Ventoy 1.0.55, the method for circumventing Windows 11 limitations is slightly more complex than the alternatives, but still fairly simple. Users need to download version 1.0.55 or newer from GitHub – it is downloaded as a ZIP archive that needs to be unpacked. In the root folder with the unpacked program, you need to create a text file .txt with the following content:

The text file needs to be saved and then renamed to ventoy.json (.json is the extension that should be in place of .txt).
The last parameter in the above code creates registry keys in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SYSTEM Setup LabConfig to bypass the Windows 11 core requirements compatibility check: BypassRAMCheck, BypassTPMCheck, BypassSecureBootCheck, BypassCPUCheck и BypassStorageCheck.
