The Federal Protection Office of the Constitution (BFV) “freezes” by its own decision all public and non -public action related to the recent registration of the Alternative for Germany as “as verified far -right” organization, until the court has ruled by the AFD. In a statement, BFV clarifies that it will no longer publicly describe the AfD as a “verified far -right” and informed the administrative court that has taken over the case. “From respect to the court and due to the ongoing proceedings, the Federal Protection Office of the Constitution does not wish to comment on the issue publicly,” the statement said. The BFV website has already been deducted from the original press release posted last Friday, while freezing and any actions linked to the new AfD classification, such as monitoring its action.
