French police raided a theater in downtown Paris today, using tear gas to remove more than 400 immigrants who had occupied the site for months, while hundreds of protesters complained about it. The immigrants, among them many unaccompanied minors, had occupied the Gaite Lyrique, a concert and artistic venue, from December 10, looking for a place to stay.
