Fresh out of the theaters, “Reign of the Planet of the Apes” entered the Disney+ catalog this Friday (2). The title is the tenth film in the franchise.
The production takes place several generations after the events of the 2017 film, “Planet of the Apes: Earth” when apes are the dominant species and humans have gone to live in the shadows.
As a new tyrannical ape leader builds his empire, a young ape embarks on a harrowing journey that will lead him to question everything he knew about his past and make choices that will shape the future for both his monkeys as for humans.
The direction is Wes Ball known for his work on the “Maze Runner” . The plot is led by Freya Allan (“The Witcher” and “The Witcher of the Dead: Baghead”), Owen Teague (“It” and “Waiting for Evil”) and Lydia Peckman .
