Friend.tech is preparing to release a new version of the platform – Friend.tech V2 – and an airdrop of FRIEND tokens. The release will take place on Thursday, May 2, at 10:30 Pacific time (22:30 Moscow time).
Previously, the release was planned for April 20, but the project team explained that they needed more time to prepare and implement new features.

- Money Club: this feature will allow communities to create and manage mutual funds. Additionally, they will be able to issue digital assets such as NFTs and memcoins and then sell them on the platform.
- Advanced personalization options: in the new version it will be possible to customize chats, change engagement parameters and add decorative elements.
- FRIEND token exchange function: participants will be able to share FRIEND cryptocurrency with each other. The developers believe that this will help increase user activity.
The project team hopes that this event will revive interest in the platform, which lost users after the initial hype.
