A new game show in search of the “Ultimate Friends Fan” will launch on the Max streaming service in 30th anniversary tribute from the beloved NBC series. The information was revealed by the platform in a press release.
The program entitled “Fast Friends” will be divided into four parts. Production is expected to begin in October, during activation “Friends Experience: The One” in New York City, United States.
“From racing through Rachel and Monica’s apartment, to speeding through Joey and Chandler’s bachelor pad, to grabbing coffee at Central Perk, fans will relive their favorite moments while being put to the test with trivia, puzzles and games that will keep even the most die-hard ‘Friends’ fans on their toes,” reads the statement obtained by CNN .
Dan Sacks, Brigette Theriault, Dan Norris and Richard Burgio will serve as co-executive producers on the game show, which is produced by Warner Bros. Unscripted Television in association with Warner Horizon. (Max, like CNN is the property of Warner Bros. Discovery.)
“Friends” ran on NBC from 1994 to 2004 and starred Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry – who died in October 2023 at the age of 54 – Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer.
