The Chinese company Realme has introduced its new smartphone to the home market. Called the Realme GT Neo 5, the novelty is truly interesting, sporting RGB backlighting, a 1.5K resolution display at 144Hz, and a large battery with record-breaking charging speeds.
One of the highlights of the new Realme GT Neo 5 is its design. The smartphone is dressed in a stylish case with a large transparent window on the rear panel, through which users can look at the processor that powers their device. To further highlight this bold design decision, Realme decided to install RGB LED lighting around this glass insert.
The features of Realme GT Neo 5 do not end there. The smartphone, despite its fairly affordable price tag, is able to offer last year’s flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, which to this day does an excellent job with all even high-performance tasks. He also received an OLED display with a resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz, up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of internal memory, a 50 MP main camera with two additional modules.

Realme GT Neo 5 will be available in two versions with different batteries. The base version is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 150-watt charging, while the more expensive version is powered by a 4,600 mAh battery with a record-breaking 240-watt charge. In the latter case, charging from 1% to 20%, according to the manufacturer, takes only 80 seconds, and a full charge will take less than 10 minutes. Laboratory tests have shown that the smartphone heats up to no more than 10°C during charging and is able to withstand 1,600 recharge cycles while maintaining 80% of its original capacity.
