From Lemann to Kondzilla: Abilio Diniz’s guest list

From an immortal from the Brazilian Academy of Letters to a businessman who burst into the world with funk videos on YouTube. The list is diverse, interesting, and includes a great investor and serial entrepreneur, one of the most representative chefs in the country, a spiritual leader who inspires crowds, two of the greatest entrepreneurs in our contemporary history and a publicist who signs several of the most remarkable recent communication campaigns.

They are Gilberto Gil, KondZilla, Camila Farani, Rita Lobo, Father Fábio de Melo, Jorge Paulo Lemann, Rubens Ometto and Nizan Guanaes. And they star, together with Abilio Diniz, in the eight episodes of the program “Olhares Brasileiros”, which premieres this Sunday at 21 pm on CNN Brazil.

It’s not about interviews. Each episode is a conversation. Dialogues that contrast views, oppose opinions and converge in proposals for the development of Brazil. The topics range from the micro to the macro, from the everyday to the extraordinary: society, culture, gastronomy, entertainment, economy, business, entrepreneurship, spirituality and behavior.

With the plurality in the approach that the guest list proposes. The purpose is one. And Abilio does not miss the opportunity to reiterate that it is to transmit messages that emphasize the importance of joint work in the construction of the country. “Debate, propose reflections, find ways”, he reaffirms.

The new program reinforces the line’s weekend grid CNN Soft and will also be shown at an alternate time on Saturdays at 2 pm. In addition to being available on brand channel on youtube.

Abilio Diniz is 85 years old and is chairman of the Board of Directors of Península Participações, his family’s investment company. Abilio is also a member of the Boards of Directors of Carrefour Global and Carrefour Brasil. Between 2013 and 2018, Abilio was chairman of the Board of Directors of BRF, one of the largest exporters of animal protein in the world.
