From Monday 26 the reopening, the curfew remains at 22

The object of the dispute was a curfew and Prime Minister Draghi did not yield. Stay at 10pm, probably until June 1st. From Monday, the decree a law that gradually reopens Italy, but maintains the ban on moving between ten in the evening and five in the morning for the whole territory, with the exclusion of serious reasons, work or health. The line of 23 requested by some regional presidents and by Salvini does not pass, with the League abstaining.

The decree is valid until July 31st, but subject to changes based on the trend of the epidemiological curve.

Here’s what changes for Italy from Monday.

BARS AND RESTAURANTS
Only those that have open spaces in the yellow zone reopen. There is only table service. For what remains of April and for the whole month of May it is not allowed to have coffee at the bar counter. The drink is done seated, maximum four per table. Takeaway is always allowed. From June it is allowed to open inside, but only from 5 to 18.

PASS
Movements for family, work or health reasons remain permitted, even in the red and orange regions, as before, with self-certification. For the yellow ones the movements are all free, even between region and region. The green pass, valid for six months, which certifies the completed vaccination, the recovery from Covid or the negative outcome of a tampon made within 48 hours is for those who want to move to and from the orange or red regions for tourism or for reunions family and friends. Anyone who was vaccinated early and has an expiring pass must have the negative swab done in the previous 48 hours.

ASSEMBLIES
Until June 15, the number of adults who can go to the home of others becomes 4 and no longer two, plus children under the age of 14 and the disabled who need accompaniment. The ban on parties and gatherings remain. In the yellow zone, from 15 May, shopping centers and markets will reopen at the weekend.

SPORTS AND HOLIDAYS
The outdoor pools and bathing establishments reopen on May 15th but only in the yellow zone. In orange you can go to the beach in your municipality, in the red ones it is not allowed to stop on the beach, even if it is possible, for example, to do sports alone by swimming. From 26 April, in the yellow zone, it is also possible to do outdoor contact sports. The use of changing rooms is always prohibited. Also in yellow since June, the stadiums are open at 25 percent of capacity. On the same date the indoor gyms reopen.

SECOND BOX
It is still allowed to go to a second home of any color of the region of departure or arrival, in this case you do not need the pass or the negative tampon, unless a local ordinance requires it.

CULTURE
In the yellow zone the cultural activities start again. Museums, cinemas and concert halls can open every day of the week. Even indoors with pre-assigned seats and half the capacity. Maximum 500 people indoors and 1000 outdoors. Discos remain closed.

EXHIBITIONS
From 15 June they can be done in the yellow zone. From July 1st, congresses and conventions can be held and spas and theme parks can open.

CURFEW
The curfew is confirmed at 10pm. The decree is valid until July 31st, but there is no deadline for the end of the night travel block. All measures will be reviewed based on the progress of the epidemic. The curfew is still in effect at different times in many European countries. The most restrictive case is that of France, which blocks everything at 7 pm. In the coming weeks it should be lifted in Belgium, the Netherlands and Austria. Germany just introduced it starting at 9pm.

According to a study reported by Youtrend the curfew “has a ‘moderate but statistically significant’ effect, resulting in a 13% reduction in the effective reproduction index Rt”. Blocking the movement of the most active population has a similar effect to the use of masks in public places.
