From Monday the applications for the 31 IEK of DYPA

The online submission of applications for admission to the 31 Vocational Training Institutes (VET) of the Public Employment Service (DYPA), as well as to the new Edipsos branch of the VET Chalkida, for the training year begins on Monday, July 4, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. 2022-2023, in 47 specialties with high demand in the labor market.

Those who hold at least a General or Vocational High School diploma have the right to apply, regardless of age. Applications can only be submitted through gov.gr with TAXIS codes at the address:

The supporting documents of the candidates must be attached to the online application in PDF format. The necessary supporting documents include the degree and the identity card. Each candidate has the right to choose a total of three training specialties in order of preference (1st, 2nd, 3rd) in two IEK of DYPA.

The aim of the IEK-DYPA is to provide quality initial professional training that meets the needs of the economy and to ensure to the trainees the corresponding qualifications through the provision of scientific, technical, professional and practical knowledge, giving them the opportunity to develop skills that will facilitate integration them in the labor market.

Studying at IEK lasts a total of five semesters, divided into four semesters of theoretical and laboratory training with a total duration of up to 1,200 specialty teaching hours, according to the specific study programs, and one semester of practical training, with a total duration of 960 hours. IEK-DYPA provide graduates (after initial professional training certification exams) with a Level 5 Professional Specialty Diploma. The specialties for the 2022-2023 training year are as follows:
