CNN Brasil Soft presents another novelty for those who like to see, hear and learn about investments and business. O CNN In Profit podcast premieres this Thursday (7) with the proposal to talk about money in a light and relaxed way.
The programs will be led by Leandro Munhós, receiving, each week, a guest to talk about various topics that involve the world of finance. The first interviewee is Leonardo Macedo, founding partner and CEO of the Nanica confectionery chain, which earned BRL 20 million in 2021. The banofferia is famous for its aesthetic known as ‘Instagrammable’ and for its appeal on the internet. The brand account has more than 300k followers on Instagram.
In the premiere episode, the entrepreneur tells how the business was boosted by social networks and discusses how other entrepreneurs can use the media to leverage their brands.

The entrepreneur’s tip for those starting out is to think outside the box and create a visually desirable business: “If you are going to set up a stroganoff business, for example, you have to do something with photos, satire, some joke, straw potatoes falling. Create environments to photograph and have a curious store”.
From the dirty name to the million dollar deal
Leonardo revealed that, when he founded the company, his name was dirty. “In March 2018, I arrived here in the land of opportunity [São Paulo] and I called Tito, my college senior. We founded Nanica in 5 m² at the back of an alley on Rua Augusta, with R$ 15 thousand”, he told the podcast.
Four years later, the banofferia has franchises in several Brazilian states. Part of the success was due to social media engagement. With beautiful pies and ‘Instagrammable’ environments, as defined by Leonardo himself, the brand fell into the favor of digital influencers and spread through smartphone screens. , says Leonardo.
In addition to investing in digital platforms, the entrepreneur addressed other points that he considers important for the success of the business, such as: a good name, brand personification and positioning.

The No Lucro podcast is available as a video on CNN Brasil Soft’s Youtube and on the main audio platforms, with new episodes every Thursday, starting at 8 am. The profile “No Lucro CNN” is also live on Instagram, on twitter and on TikTok.
Escaping the technical language and jargon of the economics area, popularly called “economês”, the program will not be restricted to specialists, as it will also receive celebrities, influencers and people who are behind successful businesses in the most diverse areas.
The idea is to show different points of view on entrepreneurship, personal finance, management, investments and economics.
To talk directly to the public, the program will have interactive boards such as Conselho No Lucro, in which people send an audio requesting financial tips. In each edition, a case of this type will be discussed and answered by the guest.
The videocast is part of the “No Lucro by CNN Soft” platform, launched in March, as a result of a strategic partnership between CNN Brasil and Banco Santander. A profile on social networks has been interacting with followers and dealing with issues related to economics and finance in a creative and humorous way. The conversation takes place through a character inspired by the effigy of Real banknotes, who makes comments and observations. The objective of these products is to provoke reflection and provide an accessible and didactic repertoire for the young public to be informed and make their own financial decisions.
