Criminals transporting a load of stolen meat crashed their car during an escape attempt this Friday morning (27) in Rio de Janeiro.
According to information, they were trying to escape a police approach and, when they arrived at Itajobi Street, in the Anchieta neighborhood, north of the capital of Rio de Janeiro, they got into an accident.
According to the Military Police, after receiving a report of the theft of frozen meat, teams from the 41st Military Police Battalion went after the criminals. The robbery took place near the Az de Ouro Community, in the north zone. The criminals were in an HB20 that lost its steering and crashed into a pole.
One of the men fled into the community and another was injured. He was taken to Albert Schweitzer hospital, in Realengo. Agents managed to recover the vehicle and cargo.
