The steps of the fuel subsidy application – Fuel Pass 2

A reminder of the process for applying for the July, August and September fuel subsidy, following the same steps as for the Fuel Pass 1 subsidy:

1. The beneficiary’s entry to the electronic platform via gov.gr is carried out with the Taxisnet codes. The website for submitting the application is https://vouchers.gov.gr/

2. Through the electronic platform, the beneficiaries request the issuance of a digital debit card to which the amount of the financial aid is credited, if they so wish.

3. After logging in to the application, the applicant completes and updates his contact information so that it is valid and, in particular, his email address and mobile phone number.

4. After the completion of the application and once his status as a beneficiary has been verified, the Information Society transmits an approval decision to the bank.

5. Next, the bank informs the beneficiary of the procedure to be followed in order to activate the card and credit the amount of money, by sending:

a) text message (sms) to the mobile phone number that the beneficiary has declared in the special application, with integrated instructions and

b) email message (e-mail) to the email address that the beneficiary has declared in the special application with an integrated link to activate the digital debit card. After entering the above link, the beneficiary creates a personal access code (password) and receives a confirmation code, with a new text message (sms), in order to activate his digital debit card to which the fuel subsidy amount is credited.

6. The amount of money credited to the debit card can be used exclusively by the beneficiary for the purchase of fuel and it is not possible to transfer it to a third party, apart from the above, or withdraw it.

7. For beneficiaries who choose to use a digital debit card, the amount of the financial aid is increased by fifteen (15) euros.

8. If the beneficiary does not wish to issue a digital debit card, using a smart phone, he must fill in his personal bank account to which the amount will be credited.
