More than 2 million Fuel Pass 2 applications have been submitted to deal with rising fuel costs, according to sources in the Digital Governance ministry. In particular, a total of 1,544,633 applications have been submitted for depositing into a bank account and 581,087 for the issuance of an immaterial digital card, provided that the user has a suitable smart phone.
Until yesterday, 333,010 beneficiary applications, for the amount of 23,867,235 euros, had been approved and sent to the banks for payment. Of these, 221,377 applications concern deposits in bank accounts, to which the amount of 14,811,345 euros has already been paid. In the form of the immaterial debit card, until yesterday, 111,633 authorizations of a total amount of 9,055,890 euros had been sent to the banks.
According to the same sources, the remaining Fuel Pass 2 beneficiaries will be paid today.
It is reminded that every citizen’s application can be in one of the following situations:
1. PROCESSING BY BENEFICIARY
2. I WAS REJECTED
3. UNDER CONTROL
4. TO BE SENT TO THE BANKING INSTITUTION
5. TO BE PROCESSED BY BANKING INSTITUTION
6. I AM APPROVED
The amounts
The amounts of the subsidy depending on the place of main residence are structured as follows:
– 100 euros using a digital debit card for eligible owners of vehicles other than motorcycles-mopeds, with main residence in the Regions of the North Aegean, South Aegean, Ionian Islands, Crete, in the Regional Unit of Islands of the Region of Attica, in the Regional Unit of Sporades of the Region of Thessaly, in the Regional Unit of Thassos of the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, on the island of Samothraki of the Evros Regional Unit of the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace and on the island of Ammouliani of the Halkidiki Regional Unit of the Region of Central Macedonia. The above amount is 85 euros, if the beneficiary chooses to deposit into a bank account.
– 80 euros using a digital debit card for eligible owners of vehicles other than motorcycles-mopeds, with main residence in the rest of Greece. This amount is limited to 65 euros, if the beneficiary chooses a bank account deposit.
– 70 euros using a digital debit card for eligible owners of motorcycles – mopeds, with residence in the Regions of the North Aegean, South Aegean, Ionian Islands, Crete, in the Regional Unit of Islands of the Region of Attica, in the Regional Unit of Sporades of the Region of Thessaly, in the Regional Unit of Thassos of the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, in Samothraki Island of Evros Regional Unit of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Region and Ammouliani Island of Halkidiki Regional Unit of Central Macedonia Region. The above amount is 55 euros, if the beneficiary chooses a bank account deposit.
– 60 euros using a digital debit card for eligible owners of motorcycles – mopeds, with main residence in the rest of Greece. This amount “drops” to 45 euros, if the beneficiary chooses a bank account deposit.
