Payments at gas stations with intangible digital Fuel Pass cards are proceeding normally.
Already, from Friday morning until noon on Saturday, the first 5612 successful payments had been made, while as of Thursday, 7 million euros had been credited to citizens who had requested payment in bank accounts and not a digital card.
It is interesting to note that although the Fuel Pass only works at gas stations, many citizens try to pay for other services.
More specifically, as of noon on Saturday, there were 73 failed attempts to pay for betting services (online) and 70 also failed attempts to purchase electronic games.
In the field of applications, as of Saturday, the platform accepts applications from all AFMs (regardless of ending number) and now more than 1 million applications have been accepted, while about 123,000 are awaiting final submission by applicants.
It is reminded that citizens can choose to collect the fuel subsidy in a bank account or create an intangible digital card (to which they will be credited an additional 5 euros) which is used exclusively at gas stations.
As underlined in vouchers.gov.gr, the condition for the use of the card is the use of a smart phone that supports NFC technology, as was done in the freedompass initiative in the summer of 2021.
