A 27-year-old woman, whose identity was not disclosed, was arrested by the Minas Gerais Military Police (PMMG) on Wednesday afternoon (9) in the rural area of Alto Jequitibá, Minas Gerais.
According to the police, the woman was on the run from justice. She had a definitive conviction for robbery, with a sentence of 27 years and 10 months in closed prison.
The police arrived there after carrying out several investigations related to a homicide that occurred in the city on October 5th. During the searches, the military discovered that the fugitive, from the District of São Pedro do Avaí, in Manhuaçu (MG), was hiding in the rural area of Alto Jequitibá.
Armed with this information, the agents began monitoring the residence where the woman was sheltering and managed to arrest the fugitive.
