Fujifilm has announced the release of the Fujinon XF27mmF2.8 R WR interchangeable lens for Fujifilm X series cameras. It can be considered an update to a product released in 2013.
Like the original model, the new lens is characterized by a very short length – such lenses are also called “pancakes”. Taking into account the crop factor of Fujifilm X cameras, the angle of the field of view is close to the human eye, that is, it provides a natural reproduction of perspective. Therefore, it is well suited for a wide variety of photography areas: from everyday and genre photography to landscapes, full-length and group portraits. The advantages of the lens include protection from moisture and dust, as well as the fact that the specifications claim to maintain performance at temperatures down to –10 ° C. A special feature of the complete set is the presence of not only the standard LH-XF27 cover and hood, but also the LHCP-27 cover installed directly on the hood.
