According to the TASS agency, at the ADM Jizzakh automobile plant in Uzbekistan, where the assembly of Lada cars was launched last fall, work began on organizing a full-scale production of Russian cars.
Interested parties announced plans to implement this project in September 2021. According to the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, new production facilities are being built at the ADM Jizzakh automobile plant, which will install equipment for the SKD of the most popular models – Lada Vesta SW and Lada XRAY. The launch of the new production line is expected to take place in 2024.

In addition, this week a business mission of the Samara region began its work in Uzbekistan, consisting of representatives of 37 companies, which will discuss with Uzbek partners the organization of production of components necessary for the assembly of Lada cars in the republic.
AvtoVAZ, together with a partner from Uzbekistan, Roodell, organized the assembly of Lada cars at the new ADM Jizzakh plant located in the Jizzakh free economic zone in Uzbekistan. The assembly process has been adjusted taking into account all AvtoVAZ requirements for equipment, technological processes and quality. The personnel involved in the project have received the necessary training.
Uzbekistan is one of the key export markets for AvtoVAZ, and the Lada brand is well known in the republic.
