The total amount of funds under management in the institutional management sector at the end of the first half of 2022 was €21.34 billion, reduced by 3.78% from 31/12/2021 and 4.62% from 31/03 /2022.
It is the first quarter after June 2020 where there is a contraction of the Greek market due to the war in Ukraine and rising inflationary pressures. This negative course is recorded in all European markets.
In more detail in the individual categories of institutional management:
– On 30.06.2022, the total market of O.S.E.K.A. managed by Greek A.E.D.A.K. showed a decrease in total assets by 8.7% since the beginning of the year and 5.6% since the previous quarter, with the total amount of funds under management amounting to €10.16 billion (OSECA Law 4099/12 € 7.37 billion and OSEKA E.E. €2.79 billion).
– Capital inflows into UCITS in the second quarter of 2022 amounted to €65 million, continuing their positive trend for the ninth consecutive quarter, with total capital inflows since April 2020 of over €3.1 billion.
– On the yield front, they were negatively shaped in all individual categories following the negative course of international markets due to geopolitical and military tensions.
– In the Asset Management sector, all funds under management by members of ETH. on 30.06.2022, it also recorded a decrease in assets by 2.64% since the beginning of the year and amounted to €7,273 million.
– The assets of the Alternative Investment Organizations (AEO) including Andromeda SA, which are managed by members of the AEO. amounts to €291.6 million.
– In the A.E.A.P. sector, the total investment in real estate as of 31.12.2021 (latest published data), increased by 17.64% to €3,609 million compared to 30.12.2020.
