Funkeira MC Katia has part of her foot amputated after health problems

Funk artist MC Katia had part of her foot amputated last Friday (28) due to thrombosis. Away from the stage, she posted a video on her social networks in June this year explaining her health situation.

“It’s been a year since I’ve been having serious health problems and I’ve tried to hide it from you in every way. Today I find myself totally debilitated from everything. I have a benign tumor in my uterus. I will operate and lose the uterus and ovary, ”she explained.

According to the funk artist, also known as “MC Katia, the Faithful”, due to this problem, her kidneys were compromised. “My kidneys are failing and it’s hurting me because I can’t walk anymore. He is tearing me apart,” she said, through tears.

“It burns, it hurts. I’m urinating little, evacuating little. All this is because of the kidneys. I have been without sleep for weeks because of the pain and burning. Besides, I have thrombosis”, he said.

After recovering from the removal of the myoma, the singer had to be hospitalized again. Due to the thrombosis –which led to necrosis in the foot– part of it had to be amputated.

Last Friday (28), MC Katia’s social networks were updated by her husband, who told the singer’s fans about her state of health after the surgery.

“Guys, Katia already operated on her foot today. The surgery was a success. She lost half of the foot that was sick. Follow in recovery at CTI,” she said.

In their latest posts, funk singers left positive messages: “I love you”, said MC Pipokinha. “God is greater than anything, a lot of faith and you’ll get through this, it’s already worked out”, said funk artist Tati Quebra Barraco.

In addition to her hits, MC Katia has participated in the video for “Rainha de Favela”, by singer Ludmilla, alongside Valesca Popozuda and MC Carol de Niterói.
