Furla, a new home in the heart of Tuscany

It is certainly not surprising if Furla chose the heart of the Chianti to create her new hub creative and productive. Here, among the gentle slopes of its unmistakable hills and the rows of cypresses, a Tuscan prelude to postcard villas and farmhouses, the Bologna brand has found its happy oasis as well as fertile ground for its processes of creation, research, experimentation.

Designed by the Geza studio in Udine, Furla Project Italy, this is the name of the new industrial center, embodies the idea of a complex capable of offering a new and harmonious interpretation of the theme of the inclusion of industrial architecture within the natural landscape, while giving life to an environment that celebrates the well-being of the individual in the workplace. No distortion of the surrounding environment therefore, but a respectful insertion, given by spaces that follow the hilly morphology of the territory, as well as the presence of patios and green roofs that break down the boundary between internal and external environment.

Furla Project Italy

Located in the municipality of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, the complex, which inevitably winks at an idea increasingly structured in sustainability, will become the heart of Furla’s production and creative chain hosting, in a first phase, 130 employees who will have the opportunity to express their creativity and their craftsmanship skills in a highly stimulating environment, capable of combining respect for tradition and desire of technological innovation and artistic experimentation. But not only.

The new polo, in addition to becoming the beating heart of the brand, is also a springboard for the new generations. Thanks to Furla Academy, valuable training program launched in 2018 in partnership with ITS Mita, the artisans of tomorrow can access academic study paths, technical and practical courses in order to learn the know-how manufacturing company. To become an integral part of it someday.
