G. Economou: Mr. Tsipras is trying to create impressions with lies and inaccuracies

“What is the name of the state that, with 1,500 new digital services, stops the suffering of citizens and waiting in endless queues? What is the name of the state that supports society and businesses with 43 billion euros during the pandemic and implements one of the largest programs support for energy precision, in the midst of huge global crises? What is the name of the state that reduces unemployment and gives way to the young and the productive ages? What is the name of the state that cuts 52 taxes and raises the minimum wage that much? What is the name of the state that pays pensions quickly? What is the name of a state that reduces immigration flows by 85% in 2020 and by 79% in 2021? What is the name of the state that shields national rights and strengthens our national defense? What is the name of the state that promotes and consolidates human rights, contributing to the freedom and dignity of citizens? It is obviously called a modern state of efficiency, solidarity, continuous effort to reduce inequalities, development and progress”, says the government spokesman Yiannis Oikonomou in a statement, commenting on a post by the official opposition leader.

“As for Mr. Tsipras, who created a state that is ineffective, taxing and indifferent to the citizen, stuck to the old and regurgitating the same things over and over again, he tries to create impressions with lies and inaccuracies,” adds Mr. Economou.
