G. Economou: No to lockdown – No to new measures for vaccinated

By Dimitris Gatsios

“No to lockdown”. “No to new measures for our vaccinated fellow citizens.”

This message is sent by the government, through its representative, Giannis Oikonomou, who, during the briefing of the journalists, stressed that the measures are aimed at extending the vaccination coverage and stopping the spread of the virus.

At the same time, Mr. Economou noted that the State and the Church will assist in the full implementation of the interventions, while he launched a fierce attack against the president of SYRIZA for his post about yesterday’s announcements of the prime minister.

“I find it difficult to understand Mr Tsipras’ insistence on comparing that catastrophic government with what we have achieved and continue to achieve in a multi-crisis environment. As everyone remembers, what Mr Tsipras did is to give, to at certain times and for political reasons, with one hand in one pocket taking things in the world and with the other hand taking them from the other pocket much more. All this was a product of extreme over-taxation, which crushed not just the middle class. “all the Greek people,” he said.

“Nobody forgets these. The citizens certainly remember them because we have taken from their backs the vast majority of the burdens that SYRIZA has borne on them. 20 moves to plunder pensions and 29 taxes during that period of government… After seeking the comparison, let “consider that Greek society remembers…”, he added.

At the same time, the government spokesman announced that the “battle” against the pandemic will include monoclons from the end of the week.
