G. Economou: We expect initiatives from Europe… If not, the government will add new support policies

By Dimitris Gatsios

“Measures are decided wisely, so as not to put the economy in trouble… We expect initiatives from Europe… If this does not happen, the government will come to add new support policies… The elaboration of our plan is done in parallel with the processes at the level of The European Union”.

This was stated by the government spokesman during the briefing for the journalists, focusing on the initiatives of Megaro Maximos and the financial staff to support households, businesses and consumers. “Along with activation at European level, we are working on our own national plan that will be added to what we have done so far and will strengthen the citizens,” he commented. “What the government is interested in is answering society’s problems. We are preparing a comprehensive housing plan, looking at the new generation… And the plan will provide adequate answers,” he said.

Mr. Economou launched an attack on SYRIZA regarding its stance on the “Jobs Again” bill. As he said, the main opposition party chose the sterile denial and the anti-social attitude. “SYRIZA became a defender of fraud and opposed progress… It is SYRIZA’s reaction and maintenance ζει It looks and looks forward to the bad past of the country… The path it is leading leads to absolute backwardness…”, he pointed out. At the same time, he announced that the fine of 100 euros for those who have not been vaccinated over the age of 60 will be suspended from tomorrow.
