G. Karagiannis: Our report for 2021 is budget projects over € 6 billion.

“We say goodbye to 2021 with a sense of satisfaction as, even in the difficult conditions we are experiencing, we have succeeded in the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport to proceed with important projects”, stresses in a statement for the time that the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure George Karagiannis is leaving.

“We are leaving” – he adds – “our imprint all over the country, we are changing the map of Infrastructures and we are serving the national development plan of Kyriakos Mitsotakis”.

Our report for 2021, indicatively, is 9 road projects and 6 railway projects and the construction of the new Metro line 4, with a total budget of over 6 billion euros.

– We are auctioning 4 public road projects (Agios Nikolaos – Neapoli of BOAK, extension of L. Kimi and connection with PATHE, bypass of Chalkida – Psachnon, Bralos – Amfissa)

– We have binding offers on 2 flagship PPP road projects (FlyOver, Kalamata – Rizomylos – Pylos – Methoni)

– We unblocked and proceed with the construction of the new Motorway “Patra-Pyrgos”

– We have the first construction sites in the largest project in the country, Metro Line 4

– We delivered the first kilometers to the southern part of the E-65 and started the construction of the northern part

– We auctioned the largest package of railway projects, amounting to 4 billion euros, upgrading the main ports of the country and their strategic role in Southeast Europe

We are moving forward dynamically in the new year with a complete project plan! “.
