The issue of the safety of Greek ships in Ukrainian ports and the safety of navigation in the Black and Azov Seas were discussed in a meeting held this morning by the Minister of Shipping and Island Policy, Giannis Plakiotakis, with the Ambassador of Ukraine to Greece, Sergii Shutenko.
The Minister of Shipping and Island Policy, in his statements after the meeting, stressed: “We are on the side of Ukraine, on the side of international legitimacy and respect for the territorial integrity of states, on the side of peace. No one is entitled by force “Our country has shown and continues to show its solidarity with Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, demanding an immediate end to the Russian invasion, which has claimed thousands of innocent lives and violated any notion of law.”
