Funding for climate targets and girls ‘education to dominate G7 foreign ministers’ agenda this week, announced the Great Britain, which this year chairs the Group of Seven most economically developed countries in the world.
The G7 Foreign Ministers’ meeting in London will be the first to be held live in about two years. Britain has invited representatives from Australia, India, South Korea and South Africa to some of the summit meetings.
“We will take action to ensure equal access to vaccines around the world, to set global targets for girls’ education, to agree on ambitious action against climate change and to develop new measures to prevent hunger.” notes in a statement British Foreign Secretary Dominique Raab.
He will meet with US counterpart Anthony Blinken tomorrow, Monday, to discuss trade with China, Afghanistan and Iran, the British government has said.
Raab will also host the foreign ministers of Japan and India at his holiday home later in the week.
