G7: Foreign ministers agreed to continue supporting Ukraine

The foreign ministers of the group of G7 countriesof the world’s most developed economies, confirmed yesterday Wednesday at their meeting in New York their cooperation in continuing to provide support in Ukraine, as announced by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. “We confirmed that the G7 countries will work together to support Ukraine and respond to food and energy security,” Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi said during a press conference in New York. In the framework of the imposition of additives sanctions against Moscow, Japan plans to ban exports of chemical weapons-related products to Russia, as well as expand the list of Russian military organizations to which arms exports have been banned, Hayashi stressed.

The Japanese foreign minister reaffirmed the importance of peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait.
