Netflix released this Tuesday (30) the first images and the teaser for “Senna” . Look above.
The miniseries will tell the story of Brazilian driver Ayrton Senna.
Over the course of six episodes, the production narrates Senna's career in Formula 1, in addition to portraying his personality and personal relationships.
The starting point is the beginning of the three-time Formula 1 champion's racing career, when he moves to England to compete in Formula Ford, and continues until the tragic accident in Imola, Italy, during the San Marino GP.
The plot stars Gabriel Leone who recently also played Spanish driver Alfonso de Portago in “Ferrari”, by Michael Mann.
In an interview with In Palma da Mari from the CNN the actor revealed that playing Senna was the biggest challenge of his career.
“It was an honor for me, a huge responsibility to play this character, to tell this story. And I think that, without a shadow of a doubt, was the most challenging process, the most complex immersion that I have ever had in my career,” he said.
Names like Alice Wegmann , Kaya Scodelario , Matt Mella , Hugo Bonemer , Julia Foti , Marco Ricca and more are in the cast.
The production led by Vicente Amorim does not yet have a release date, but Netflix stated that it will arrive on the platform later this year.
