Gabriella and Jacques will finally be able to hug their mother Charlène again, even if for a few hours

Like a puzzle, the picture of the conditions of Charlène of Monaco is being put together piece by piece. We now know that the princess, wife of Albert II, is not well. After a 10-month absence from the Principality, she returned home on November 7 and then left almost immediately, headed for a Swiss clinic where she is trying to recover physical and mental health. But finally a communiqué arrived from the royal palace in which a nice surprise for Charlène is announced: Alberto and the twins Gabriella and Jacques will visit her in Switzerland for the Christmas holidays.

Between the lines of the press release, reported by nice morning, a hint of Charlène’s current conditions can also be found: “The convalescence continues in a satisfying and encouraging way, even if it will take a few more months for the complete return to health. When she is completely recovered, the princess will return to share moments of conviviality with the Monegasques with immense pleasure ». These words confirm that the moment of returning home has not yet arrived and perhaps it is not very close. Surely, as already announced by the experts, it will happen in the new year, but not necessarily in January.

The only certainty is that 2021 is proving to be a long ordeal for Charlène: she spent many months in South Africa, her native country, for health reasons that did not allow her to return to her family. After returning, the stay at the Rocher, as the Monegasques call the old fortress on which the palace is built, was very short and the same can be said of the happiness of Alberto and the little Jacques and Gabriella. The hospitalization in the clinic, in an attempt to regain lost health, held up Charlène far from very important public and personal events: the celebrations for the National Day of Monaco, the presentation of the Christmas tree of the principality and above all the seventh birthday of the children. Then came the Christmas card of the royal family, but instead of being a photo it is a portrait, and this immediately made us think that healing was not exactly close for the princess. If the year was not easy for Charlène, much less so for Alberto and their children, who have been seen more and more sad in recent times.

But finally a little hope lights up: even if Charlène will not return to Monaco for a few months, at least the little Jacques and Gabriella will soon be able to hug her again for a few hours.
